A look at some of the latest vacancies from across the motor engineering and bodyshop
vehicle damage appraisal (VDA) sectors. Please email editor@theiaea.org if you would like

This is a remote position, with travel into the of昀椀ce as and
when required by arrangement.
•
Member of either IMI / IRTE / IAEA or be working
towards (or willing to do so).
•
Current IMI VDA certi昀椀cation and IAEA AQP is
advantageous.
•
Motor claims knowledge including a basic understanding
of insurance principles.
•
Good working knowledge of computerised damage
estimating systems, including Audatex, Glass’s Repair
Estimate and GT Global.
•
Good spoken and written communication skills.
•
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Motor Inspections deal with all aspects of both insured
and third-party motor inspections, using state-of-the-art
technologies to receive and audit estimates prior to
authorising repairs to the Approved Repairer Network as
well as Customer Nominated Repairers in a timely and
cost-effective manner, along with dealing with total loss
settlement under the correct code of practice.
•
Positive and self-con昀椀dent approach when dealing with
customers.
•
Empathy, tact, assertiveness and diplomacy when talking
to customers.
•
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and
where required be able to use own initiative.
•
PC literate with good administrative skills.
You will be in constant contact with approved repairers
monitoring the performance, recognising potential areas
of improvement and relationship building, and delivering
excellent standards to drive great outcomes for customers.
•
Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility
when necessary.
MOTOR INSPECTIONS
JOB TITLE: Desktop Motor Engineer
DETAILS: Remote, £40,000 + per year (performance related
pay scheme enhancement).
JOB SPEC: Are you an experienced Motor Engineer wanting
to expand their skillset with new technologies in a new
vibrant company?

DETAILS: Remote. £35,000 - £55,000 a year – permanent,
full-time.
