PRESIDENT’S COLUMN
A warm welcome to our latest edition of The Assessor’s Journal, with the year commencing in full swing.
We are happy to report that AQP recerti昀椀cations and new certi昀椀cations are progressing well,
and for the majority we are seeing great results as we process the backlog of candidates
making good our commitment of last year.
We envisage a revised code of practice for salvage categorisation will be available
in the coming months, and once we receive the approval from the ABI, we will
reformat the examination to match the new required standard, and we will issue
more information in good time, so please remember to visit the website.
National Council have just held their 昀椀rst meeting for 2024, with a new Council
team. I can report back that we have a great deal of innovation and improvement
we would like to bring during my Presidency and into the next President’s term,
and again I will update you all over the course of the year.
