includes a good working relationship

“An informed estimating service
relies on a wealth of knowledge and
experience,” said Stuart. He takes
a methodical approach to ensure
a “clean and uniform process for
engineers, who can have faith in
the bodyshop VDA, to deliver a
right-昀椀rst-time estimate”.
SUSTAINABILITY
The new state-of-the-art Fix Auto
Basingstoke vehicle repair centre really
does “raise the bar” in sustainability.
Guests were given the opportunity
to tour the impressive 25,000 sq ft
facility, learn more about its advanced
measures that owner Dale Morris
and his team have taken to ensure
it is at the vanguard of sustainability
for the industry and see 昀椀rst-hand
the innovative measures embedded
throughout the site.
Featuring 250 solar roof panels the
plan is to harness solar energy and
reach 100% off-set usage. The facility
has eight EV Charging points and a
parts recycling system.
Believed to be one of the most
environmentally friendly vehicle repair
centres in the UK, the Wade Road
building which is just yards award from
Dale’s secondary site – and the only
one in the Fix Auto UK Group solely
dedicated to repairing vans, LCVs,
motorhomes and small lorries – has
been designed to ensure its complete
environmental responsibility is running
through its core. Fully electric with total
power supplied and harnessed
by a huge bank of solar panels, the
site incorporates cutting-edge
energy-ef昀椀cient technologies,
responsible waste management
systems and various processes aimed
at signi昀椀cantly reducing carbon
emissions without compromising on
repair quality, safety or turnaround
times.
CLEVER ZONES
The impressive site is bright and
well-equipped with the latest
accident repair technology, including
the centrepiece: two fully electric
Junair spraybooths that showcase
groundbreaking energy saving
features.
The workshop features a clever layout,
with zones for each stage of the repair
process, which incorporates a system
for stripped and replacement parts that
is both simple and genius.
The opening event celebrated not only
the launch of a 昀氀agship repair centre,
but also the continued growth and
evolution of the Fix Auto UK brand.
The presence of so many industry
partners and peers underlined the
strength of collaboration across the
network and the shared commitment
to driving higher standards in
vehicle repair, customer service, and
environmental performance.
The team were on hand to welcome

INVESTMENT
Speaking at the event, Dale outlined
just how the new centre, which will
be overseen by Group Manager,
Mark White, represents “a signi昀椀cant
investment in the future of sustainable
accident repair and a clear statement
of intent for what modern bodyshops
can and should deliver. Repair centres
like ours will be the future of our
industry, it’s what our customers, work
suppliers and insurer partners will
expect. I’m just delighted to be at the
very front of these developments.”
Commenting on the development,
Ian Pugh, Managing Director for the
Advantage Group of Companies
of which Fix Auto UK falls within,
said: “What Dale and his team have
achieved not only raises the bar
for vehicle repair facilities, but truly
establishes a 昀氀agship venue and one
we’re all extremely excited about and
proud of. It once again demonstrates
the con昀椀dence Dale—and so many
fellow Franchise Partners—have in
being part of the Group.
“No stone has been left unturned
and no expense spared, to ensure
the facility is as eco-friendly and
sustainable as possible, utilising today’s
leading technologies, products and
techniques. Today is truly a great day
for Fix Auto Basingstoke and Fix Auto
UK.”
“The future of vehicle repair is here,”
said Dale. “Our focus now is on
continuing to raise standards, investing
in our people and processes, and
ensuring we remain at the forefront
of sustainable, high-quality accident
repair.”
