Continuing our series examining the green parts market, this issue we talk to ASM Auto
Recycling, which was one of the very 昀椀rst companies to become VRA-certi昀椀ed to prove
the quality and provenance of reclaimed vehicle parts. ASM also scored highly in the
recent 2025 ABP Repairers Choice Awards, achieving second place in the Green Parts
Supplier category.

“To be perfectly honest, we (recyclers)
all do pretty much the same job, in
much the same way and all to a very
similar standard, but what we believe
sets ASM ever so slightly apart from
the other players in the green parts
arena is that we do the overall package
just that little bit better,” said Chris
Morgan, Operations Director, ASM
Auto Recycling, “and we’re only talking
about marginal differences.”

nature of the product of reclaimed

things considered, we believe that we
provide an extremely good service to
our clients,” said Chris. “For example,

indicative of our standards, but maybe
we’re just not quite as good as other
companies at telling our story or
communicating the message about
how well we actually do what we do.”
